Job Description:
Our client is a leading facilities management company providing services across all sectors throughout the UK and Internationally. They are looking to recruit two commercial managers, each to cover the Midlands and Southern regions.
Requirements:
• Educated to degree level or equivalent
• Experience within a similar industry sector (Facilities Management);
• Must have a proven record of negotiating contracts and risk management;
• Must have a proven record of strategic business planning;
• Thorough knowledge and experience of Business Assurance and Performance Measurement systems;
• A full driving licence in essential;
• Good financial acumen with an ability to analyse complex data and documentation with accuracy;
• Capable of influencing within cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
• Support the Regional Commercial Managers in providing a robust commercial service to the regions;
• Provide commercial advice/support to the operational and functional management team
• Assist in developing and implementing the commercial strategy for the regions;
• Implement and provide continuous audit such that the commercial discipline employed is compatible with the requirements of the contract and business plans;
• Develop robust processes to ensure correct handover from bids to operational phases.
• Ensure that the operational teams are aware of commercial and contractual matters prior to commencement;
• Develop and implement processes to ensure the requisite commercial activities are implemented during the mobilisation phase.
• Be a key member of the mobilisation team;
• Support the Operations Director in providing a customer focused service and attaining the highest standards of operational delivery;
• Manage, mentor and support members of the broader commercial/operational team
