Our Client:

Our Client in an international construction services group, who are looking to appoint an Estimating Manager. You will be expected to prepare tenders ready for submission on M&E projects.

Main Responsibilities:
• Advise on tender enquiry documents and instigate company QA procedures, including managing contractual and financial document reviews, interventions and discussions.
• Works within a team with other sister business units
• Manages the preparation and prepares cost plans from design drawings.
• Liaise with Designers/Managers/Engineers/Clients and attends interviews/presentations.
• Make full use of the available computer technology
• Provides a design to cost role, on D&B contracts.
• Demonstrate good man management skills with integrity and enthusiasm.
• Creates a commitment from his team to win bids by best value not best price.
• Prepare, discuss and agree Tenders/Cost plans with Senior Manager/Directors for approval and submission.
• Submits and negotiates bids on the parameters set by Managers/Directors.
• Chairs tender handover meetings.
The successful candidate must have previous M&E experience.
